We love seeing things happen for Lyall as it is important we as a community are not overlooked in the general scheme of a city so it is wonderful when things happen.

Restoration work in Lyall Bay focusses on protecting and enhancing the beach with an extended wall, planting the dunes and renewing the playground; replacing the surf clubhouse, redesigning Surfers Corner carpark, and armouring Dorrie Leslie Park with a new rock wall.
The Lyall Bay Surf Life Saving Club is replacing their club building with a purpose-built clubhouse that will include public toilets for people using the beach.
The Lyall Bay playground is being renewed. It will incorporate new play equipment and a new lay out.
We are working on parts of Lyall Bay beach to make sure this valuable recreational area is protected against future storms.
