Better Days among the sands:
Love the weather that we have had today from a great sunrise cresting in the early hours this morning and casting rays across the bay and the south coast to a blue sky day that would have to go down as one of the many nice ones we have had on the coast.
It was sad to see among this nice weather that a missing person still has not been located on our coast.
Wellington Police investigating the disappearance of lawyer and conservationist Robert Logan
more than a month ago are urging anyone with any information to come forward. The 51 year-old was reported missing to Police on Friday 27th August and Police located his white 1991 Nissan Sunny station wagon at the Owhiro Bay car park later that same day.

If you can help the police with this, please get in contact with them as it would be wonderful to find Robert even if it is for the sake of closure, but one hopes he is still with us and i am sure those police and family still looking for him think so also.
Was wonderful to watch a woman and young child looking out to see watching an aircraft land in over the strait among the wisps of sand that were getting blown about made for a very good image, kicked myself that i did not have my camera with me.
Now as the day slowly draws to a close its nice to watch the light turn and a few clouds role in will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings.
would love to have others write stories about life on the coast and if you would like to see them posted here, drop us an email at news@thebay.net.nz
Have a good night all
Joe
