Missing 83 year old

Police are concerned about 83 year old Mr Rex Donald Reid of Masterton. He left his daughter's Owhiro Bay Wellington address mid afternoon yesterday Wednesday the 29th of June 2011. He is driving a 1999 Blue Daihatsu Charade with a personalised plate BEZZY. His journey should have taken him directly to his home address at Masterton via state highway two and the Rimutaka Hill Rd. Mr Reid has a health condition that causes confusion and has limited walking mobility.

Masterton police are seeking any information that that will assist in locating Mr Reid or his vehicle.

Flight Disruptions carry on into tomorrow ...

The Chilean volcanic ash cloud continues to impact some of Jetstar’s New Zealand operations.

New Zealand domestic services and some Trans Tasman services will be impacted tomorrow, Friday 1 July 2011.

All flights to/from ChristchurchQueenstown and Wellington have been cancelled until 1200 (NZ local time) tomorrow, Friday 1 July 2011.

A full list of cancelled flights is listed below.

All other Trans Tasman and international services continue to operate as normal.

Jetstar is closely monitoring the ash cloud in conjunction with the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre and the Bureau of Meteorology. We continue to assess the situation and will provide updates to customers as soon as information becomes available.
